Deanna Dunbar - The Botanical Photographer
This Garden to Art collection was started in 2017 as a passion project for Deanna to photograph her
own rural garden and create art pieces for others to enjoy in their own homes.
She is an avid gardener at heart and loves creating colour waves through garden design and flora choice.
Many of the flowers she photographs are from her own garden or sourced and grown locally.
From the moment of capture the intricate details of plants and flowers are combined with creative vision and technical skill,
bringing to life the natural beauty of plants. To complete the process digital enhancements and custom printing
results in a more painterly feel rather than that of traditional photography,
yet respects the natural wonder of botany to create beautiful pieces.
Deanna is able to create works of art that are truly one-of-a-kind in limited edition prints.
Deanna’s fascination for botanicals has been her life’s journey of discovery for trees,
foliage and flowers through to the beauty and diversity of nature
- from the changing seasons to wildflower fields and her own country garden in South Australia.
By documenting botany through photography Deanna’s passion is evident in this collection as she puts a modern twist into still life.
Get ready to be captivated by the vivid colours and stunning compositions that will sing to your soul.
